A deciduous shrub with a rounded crown, reaches a height of 0.8-1 m and a diameter of about 1 m. Its leaves are bright yellow - they have a lemon to golden hue, in autumn they turn yellow-orange. It blooms in May with yellow-red flowers in clusters, the fruits are red, long stored on the branches. Undemanding to the soil and sufficiently drought-resistant. Requires semi-shaded places. Cold resistant, it doesn't freeze, easy to look after and subject to any pruning. Suitable for a rock garden, border, hedge, strengthening embankments, single plant or for contrast in a group.
