Red oak is a deciduous tree, reaches to 25 m. height. It blooms in the month of May with yellow flowers. His crown is thick, branched and spreading with reddish colored shoots. Its trunk is thin, covered with smooth, gray bark. In autumn, the leaves turn red, and that is why this oak is called red or red-leafed. The fruits of the tree appear no longer – early from 15 years. Acorns are brown – red, resemble a ball, and their length is approx 2 cm. They ripen in autumn.
