Arizona cypress is one of the few representatives of the large genus of cypresses, which are developing well in all parts of Bulgaria.
The Arizona cypress is a very showy tree, which reaches approx 20 m. height. Its correct conical shape and the color of its leaves - blue-green - are particularly impressive. Its homeland is North America - the mountains of California, Northern Mexico and of course Arizona, all regions with temperature extremes. This explains its endurance in almost any conditions - to sharp colds (to -20° C) and long droughts. For this reason, Arizona cypress is widely used in landscaping. It can be used in the garden as a solitaire (dominant tree) or to fit in a group with other evergreens. It can also be used to form a hedge, because it tolerates pruning well at a young age. It can be used to highlight an alley, at the entrance of a garden or house. If fertilized regularly, it grows very quickly. For 3-4 years can reach over 2 meters.
