Yellow Cornus is a tall deciduous shrub with deciduous leaves and bright yellow branches, that liven up any garden in winter. The flowers are yellowish-white, collected in thyroid inflorescences. Blooms April-May. Grows on all types of moist to wet, nutrient soils, acidic to alkaline, but still prefers rich humus soils. It has a very widespread root system. They are pruned in early spring (February – March) before the buds develop a quarter of the old shoots from the base. Winter-resistant and easy to maintain. Apart from regular trimming, it does not require any other care.
