It reaches over 6m. height, its oval leaves turn pink or reddish in autumn, and the rounded pods split open to reveal their orange seeds.
Euonymus likes any garden soil. Grows in shade or partial shade, but deciduous and variegated species prefer bright sun.
This shrub needs little or no pruning, but if necessary, do it in may. Trim the hedge in May and again in early autumn. Chashkodryan can be shaped like a hedge, as a single bush or group, and also as a low tree.
