Hydrangea Piniculata “Pink Rose”,
(Hydrangea pan. ‘PINK & ROSE’), cont. 5 l.
A uniquely beautiful variety, which reaches 2 m height. The flowers stand upright, without lying. Flowering begins at the end of July with the flowers opening white. As autumn approaches, they turn pink in September. Like the other representatives of panicle hydrangeas, this one also blooms most abundantly in a fully sunny position. It requires fertilizing twice a year – once in April after new growth starts and once in June. Mulch the base of the tuft for better moisture retention during the hot summer months. Pruning and shaping is done in early spring, before the initiation of new growth.
