Liquidambar styraciflua

The amber tree is a deciduous tree, which reaches approx 20 m in height, when grown in the garden. In nature, it is usually higher and reaches over 40 m height. The leaves of the amber tree have 5 the top and are star-shaped, in spring and summer they are green, and in autumn they become a mixture of yellow, Orange, purple and red. This is the moment, in which the amberwood is most attractive. The tree blooms from April to May with small yellow-green flowers.
