Ground cover plant, suitable for forming hedges and geometric shapes, but has an attractive appearance without pruning, resulting in a shaggy texture. For a hedge, plant the plants at a distance 30 – 40 cm. It can also be used in rock corners, retaining walls, suitable for reinforcing slopes. Withstands sunny and semi-shaded exposures, frost resistant. The species is fast growing, as in height it can reach up to 150-160 cm, and up to 150-180 cm in width. It is used as a substitute for boxwood.
