Loropetalum is an evergreen, broadleaf, flowering shrub. Its colors are attractive with pleasant, light fragrance. They appear in late winter and linger until late spring. The plant can reach up to 4 m. height and up to 2.5 m. width. The plant is relatively winter hardy, lasts up to about minus 15 degrees. Loropetalum is a heat-loving and light-loving plant. Prefers sunny places, but it can also survive in partial shade.
