Prefers sunny places, but it can also survive in partial shade. It must be protected from strong winds. Can be grown in containers, which in the winter go into a cool room. Young plants need abundant watering, while older representatives gradually develop some drought resistance. Loropetalum pruning is done after reblooming, with the aim of giving the desired shape to the crown. With proper pruning, stamp forms and bonsai can be obtained.
