Magnolia sieboldi, (Magnolia sieboldii)
This is one of the most beautiful types of magnolias. In May and June, it is filled with fragrant flowers, translucent white colors, in the middle with delicate bright red stamens. Additional flowers appear periodically during the summer months and are followed by an ovoid fruit, which turn deep red in autumn in stark contrast to the golden yellow green leaves. It is good for a woodland garden and does not grow much above fifteen feet in height. It belongs to the most winter-hardy representatives of magnolias!!
