This is a medium size, slow-growing broad-leaved shrub or small tree with broad, rounded shape, the best magnolia for smaller gardens. White flowers with a light fragrance in early spring, 10 cm in diameter with up to 18 narrow petals, emerge like stars on the bare branches, which last several weeks.
