Eleagnus is an evergreen shrub, reaching a height 2,5-3 m, also known as stinking willow. It blooms in white and fragrant flowers in autumn (October-January), and the seeds ripen in April-May. It is grown mainly for its decorative variegated leaves. Unpretentious shrub, which is mostly used for hedges. It tolerates both sunny and semi-shaded places well. Requires regular pruning.
