Weeping Japanese cherry Snow Fountain, (Prunus Snow Fountains) 150cm.
Considered one of the most beautiful weeping cherries, the variety Snow fountain is a small deciduous tree with long, gracefully cascading branches, kissing the ground.
Blooms for approx 3 weeks in mid-spring, plenty of aromatics, snow white, single flowers emerge from rose buds. They give the effect of a snow fountain with a charming effect.
When the bloom fades, ovate dark green leaves emerge and create a beautiful cover, before turning brilliant shades of golden-yellow and orange in autumn.
It grows vigorously up to 2-4 m. height.
Grows best in full sun in moist, relatively fertile, well-drained soils.
Perfect choice, as a single plant in the garden, as well as for beds and borders.
Prune after flowering, if necessary, but usually requires very little pruning.
