Sage is a light-loving and heat-loving culture, which, however, successfully overwinters on the territory of Bulgaria. Flowering is abundant and continuous from spring until the first frost. There is a risk of frostbite with a sharp and prolonged retention of lower temperatures in the spring, when the juicing has started. In autumn it is good to hug. Sage is a drought tolerant herb and does not tolerate excessive watering. Therefore, do not allow waterlogging of the soil, water only when needed.
