Seven Lydium,

Lydia sat, cont. pot 9

Lydia sat is a perennial evergreen herbaceous plant of the sem. Obese. The stems are thin, reddish creepers, leaves dense, cylindrical, intensely green. Very short, make communities, moss-like. Outside active vegetation – during the hot summer and winter, the stems are partially exposed, leaving only those at the top of the shoot, which form peculiar leaf heads, red in color and resembling strawberries. The origin of this sedum is the mountains of Turkey and Asia Minor, but it is completely winter-resistant in our country. A low plant – to 5 cm height and 20-30 cm width. Like all sedums, Lydia is unpretentious, light-loving. It needs light, well-drained soil, but unlike other sedums, it is good to water it regularly. More gentle, it must be mechanically protected from more aggressive plants growing next door. It is used in rock corners and rock gardens, as a ground cover between slabs of natural stone, arrangements with succulents in pots, winter gardens.
