Tecoma radicans,
Tekoma, Kampsis 200+ cm
Thecomata (Tecoma Radicans) is a magnificent twining shrub with deciduous leaves, which we can safely say, that it is one of the most beautiful and spectacular climbing plants.
Its large orange, red or yellow colors, are truly breathtaking. It is widely used in landscaping because of its attractive appearance and fact, that it is easy to grow. In length it can reach up to 10 meters. Colors are big (5-7 cm.), funnel-shaped, very bright and quite abundant, they appear in August and September, and sometimes they linger even in October, if it is more – warm. They resemble trumpets in shape. Thecomata is a relatively unpretentious shrub. There is only one thing, what it does care about and that is access to lots of sunlight. Prefers rich and fertile soils. The bush is relatively cold-resistant.
